Privacy Policy

Last updated October 6, 2026

This policy explains how DCS3, LLC (“we”, “us”) handles personal information in connection with Sequence, including setsequence.com and the Sequence app, API and MCP server.

Two kinds of information

  • Our customers and visitors. When you visit our site, book a demo or use Sequence, we decide how your information is used. This policy covers that.
  • Our customers’ contacts. When a business uses Sequence to email or text you, that business decides what is collected and sent, and we process the data on its behalf as a service provider. If you received a message from a business using Sequence, contact that business with privacy requests. You can always unsubscribe with the link in any email, or reply STOP to any text.

Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address and password (stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider).
  • Business information: brand names, sending domains, mailing addresses and, for SMS registration, details such as your business’s legal name, EIN, address and a representative’s contact information.
  • Customer Data: contacts, templates, audiences, events and messages you put into Sequence, plus form submissions captured by our capture script (including the submitter’s IP address and consent evidence where you collect it).
  • Usage and device data: logs, IP address, browser type and the pages and features used.
  • Communications: demo requests and emails you send us.

Cookies and tracking

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in, remember your selected brand, and briefly show a new API key once after you create it. We do not use advertising cookies. In emails our customers send through Sequence, we measure opens and clicks on the customer’s behalf using a tracking pixel and redirected links.

How we use information

  • To provide, maintain and secure the Service, including delivering messages and handling opt-outs.
  • To register businesses for SMS with carriers and The Campaign Registry.
  • To respond to demo requests and support questions.
  • To monitor sending health, prevent abuse and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • To improve the Service, and to comply with the law.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that run Sequence for us: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (SMS delivery and registration) and Trigger.dev (background jobs).
  • Carriers and The Campaign Registry, for SMS registration and delivery.
  • Integrations you connect, such as Pipedrive or Zapier, as you direct.
  • Public location services, if you set up a weather watch: we send the place name you enter to OpenStreetMap Nominatim to find its coordinates, and the coordinates to the US National Weather Service to find its forecast zones. We do not send contact information to either service.
  • Authorities or successors, when the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or acquisition.

Mobile information: we do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties, except with the providers above that deliver the messages.

Retention

We keep information for as long as an account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period. While a customer’s brand exists, we keep its suppression records (unsubscribes, opt-outs and complaints) so that brand does not send those people marketing again unless they opt back in. A brand can still answer a message the person sends it first. Deleting a brand deletes its suppression records with the rest of its data. We also keep records where the law requires.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls that keep each customer’s data separate, hashed account keys and least-privilege access for our team. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can change your password in the app. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to certain uses. To make a request, email hello@setsequence.com. We will respond within the time the law requires.

Where data is processed

We and our service providers process data in the United States. If you are outside the United States, your information will be transferred there.

Children

Sequence is a business service and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If a change is material, we will tell customers by email or in the app before it takes effect.
